Overview

St Luke's Academy is a special school for young people all of whom have a statement identifying behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties as their primary need. Our staff provide a safe, caring environment, giving each pupil the opportunity to make progress and achieve their full potential.

The local authority is the placing/admitting authority for St Luke's School, and decisions on placement are made by SENRAP (Special Educational Needs Resource and Assessment Panel).

Students at our school all have an education health care plan (EHCP), and the type of school appropriate for each pupil is always named in section I (Education Placement) after the outcome of the statutory assessment.

The Special Educational Needs Assessment Team at Swindon Borough Council can be contacted on 01793 463000.
