Year 8 Catering and Food Technology Class Update Term 3 Week 1

Year 8's have been looking at different types of diets and foods available as alternatives.

We tried Quorn chicken, sausage, and burger. We also tried soya milk and yoghurt ,gluten free bread and biscuit. Our favourite was the strawberry soya yoghurt and the gluten free gingerbread. We also looked at what happens if you have an allergy to certain foods and how to support this, using an EpiPen.
