Here are a few words from Lisa Stead from Nyland, after the transition day for Nyland's current Year 6 who were invited to visit St Luke's:
"Such a successful transition session for the current year 6 cohort today.
I saw such a huge improvement at the school. The student conduct is calm, they follow instructions well, the COVID procedures are adhered to, staff are respected, children are kind and polite to each other.
The children and the staff seemed happier and were extremely welcoming.
The year 6 children were very impressed with the school, the staff and their experience today couldn't have been better. They are looking forward to returning in a fortnight."
Rachael King also had some kind words for us after accompanying a student on their transition day:
"I have today visited the school for the first time. I was greeted with smiles as soon as I entered all the staff I met are a true credit to the school, showing resilience, determination and enthusiasm to the children, you can tell it's not just a job to them they really care.
Keep up the good work you are making a difference."
Thanks Lisa and Rachael!
