Food bingo is an excellent way to review things!
The students could only cross off the item once they had retrieved a piece of information about it, for instance: an orange is from the food group vitamins and minerals. An oranges is one of your 5 a day (or 2 satsumas). Oranges contain vitamin C which is good for healing wounds and colds.
With internal exams approaching it's a good revision game to recap. Other good answers that came up were about carbohydrates containing slow-release energy, cereals containing fibre which help with constipation, Milk containing calcium.
